1. SCOPE:
This Quality Assurance Program Covers The General Requirements For Inspection, Testing,
Documentation And Certification Of All Types Of Instruments Manufactured.
The program is intended to supplement the minimum requirements of the applicable
standards and to be followed by internal qc dept. At every stage of manufacturing.
Supplementary specification indicative – special or additional requirements from the
customer shall form addenda to this program.
Customers inspection officer’s or their authorized inspection agency’s points are
also indicated. Additional check points, if any shall form addenda to this program.
2.REFERENCE STANDARDS :
The standards in their latest edition shall form the basis of manufacturing, inspection,
testing and acceptance of all types of instruments.
3.RAW MATERIAL :
All raw materials shall be inspected by Q.C. dept. As a routine procedure prior to storing. This
inspection generally shall include following:
CASTINGS:
A. Surface check.
B. Dimensional check to comply with reference drawings.
C. Verification of material identification markings with
respect to manufacturer‘s T.C.
D. Review of manufacturer’s T.C. with respect to applicable standards..
E. Review of external agency T.C. Of test bars.
F. If radiographic examination required by customer, shall be
done at Manufacturers workshop.
G. Review of radiographic results with respect to Applicable standards.
IN CASE OF DISCRIPANCY OBSERVED IN EITHER
A. Identification mark.
B. Manufacturer T.C.
Radiographic check (wherever applicable), testing shall be recommended. Testing shall be carried
out At the independent approved laboratories
